1. Monsoon season has arrived, and in the past few days we've even gotten some rain out of those big dark clouds!2. Lacey and Bille are back from Cartagena so we have friends again!
3. We bought a house!
4. Henry was a pretty good dog today, even though he's gotten even more anxious since the move and has reverted to waking up at 6am.
5. It's still summer vacation...at least for a few more days!
And bonus number 6: Pound cake + peaches = delicious!

Congrats! Where is your house? We are under contract on a house right now and should close the end of this month. It's at Union Hills and 83rd Ave.
You're so lucky you still have some vacation left. I'm still teaching 6th grade, but our school moved 6th grade to 1 class. So instead of teaching math, I'll be teaching all the subjects with the same kids. Are you still teaching at the same school and grade?
A house! Holy Hannah! Congratulations. I'm happy-jealous. Hopefully we'll see it soon (and maybe sooner or later we'll get to see it in real life). :)
