A belated happy Halloween to everyone! We didn't do anything too exciting, and though we did dress up, (Taylor as Bellatrix LeStrange and Dean as a deranged hockey player) we forgot to take pictures of our costumes. Oops. Here are some shots of the rest of our low-key but enjoyable festivities.

Bloody steaks, ice cold blood to drink,
salad, and popcorn balls rounded out the evening.

Thank you for being a Harry Potter character for Halloween - you rock, Taylor! Your dog is adorable, by the way. :)
Things I love about this post (and the circumstances surrounding it):
-How Hank looks in the first picture –- simultaneously miserable and reproving ("Really? How could you do this to me?").
-That you not only chose a Harry Potter character, but that it was one so frequently unseen in costume (and one so deliciously villainous) as Bellatrix.
-That Dean's fallback was hockey. Dave was about to do that, but he went as a blind ref instead. Gotta love 'em.
I'm sad I don't know who Bellatrix LeStrange is, but I'm sure your costume was great. Henry's costume makes me laugh.
Ha ha Justus carved his pumpkin with the same scary face pattern. Ah free patterns, you've got to love them.
You should have taken a picture of yourself...that's an awesome character to choose! She's absolutely frightening.
