Hockey!

For Christmas, Lacey and Bille got Dean tickets to a Coyotes game. The tickets were for AMAZING seats and even came with a free hot dog and drink! We just went last night with some friends from our ward who also had tickets to the game. The Coyotes were playing the New York Rangers and the Coyotes won 3-2. It was actually a pretty close game by the end! It was way fun! Plus, I think Dean was glad to have someone other than me to watch the game with, since I usually pepper the game with too many gasps after a rough check or else ask too many questions like, "why is it only a high stick if you hit someone?" A BIG thank you to Lacey and Bille for providing us with such a fun date night and for making Dean's hockey dreams come true!

Yes, sometimes, I wonder why Justus likes me to watch his games with him. We're always so out of sync...I'll ask him a question about the game during a pivotal point, and he won't answer for a while, and usually, he will have completely forgotten my question. I've come to the conclusion that he must be really patient or just really oblivious because I ask so many questions, and a lot of them are ones I've asked before.

It sounds like you had a lot of fun...good seats and hot dogs and drinks to boot.

How fun! Here's to the sincere effort of (trying) to learn the rules to the sports our boys love.
